About the Session:

Child and youth mental health has been discussed frequently this past year, in light of the numerous changes in our daily lives as a result of the pandemic. The session will share information regarding available mental health services for children and youth. The goal is to answer commonly asked questions, including:

  • When should I reach out to a professional about my child or youth?
  • What supports are available to support my child or youth?
  • How do I access supports?
  • What do mental health services look like for my children or youth?
  • How are families involved in services and supports?

We will discuss commonly accessed services, including counselling and psychotherapy, psychoeducational assessment, behaviour supports, and specialized services.  A question-and- answer period will be held at the end of our talk.

Série de conférenciers:

Ces présentations fourniront une éducation sur des sujets et des solutions pour la guérison et la résilience. Elles présenteront également certains des services spécialisés tels que le traitement résidentiel ou le traitement ambulatoire intensif.
