Le stress nous pousse \u00e0 lutter ou \u00e0 fuir, afin de nous mettre hors du danger imm\u00e9diat. Cependant, dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 occidentale, le stress constitue davantage un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de tous les jours qui survient pour diverses raisons, et ce ne sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas des choses contre lesquelles nous pouvons lutter ou que nous pouvons fuir.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les professionnels en uniforme, tels que les premiers intervenants, le personnel militaire et le personnel des services d'urgence, leur profession peut \u00eatre stressante en raison de l'exposition r\u00e9guli\u00e8re (et parfois quotidienne) \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements traumatisants, des priorit\u00e9s qui se font concurrence sur des d\u00e9lais courts, et du fait d'occuper une position sur laquelle la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 se repose.<\/p>\n<p>Que nous ayons trop de choses sur nos listes de t\u00e2ches, des changements majeurs dans nos vies, un stress professionnel ou une maladie dans la famille, nos corps et nos esprits ressentent la pression et deviennent \u00ab stress\u00e9s \u00bb. Un peu de stress est normal; cela nous motive \u00e0 devenir plus productifs et \u00e0 accomplir des t\u00e2ches. Cependant, trop de stress prolong\u00e9 peut \u00eatre \u00e9crasant, au point de cr\u00e9er des probl\u00e8mes dans nos relations, notre travail et notre fonctionnement au quotidien.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sympt\u00f4mes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Diff\u00e9rentes personnes, mises dans diff\u00e9rentes situations stressantes, peuvent avoir diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9actions. En ralentissant, nous pouvons \u00e9viter l'\u00e9puisement professionnel et le stress.<\/li>\n<li class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Les autosoins<\/strong> : prendre soin de soi conduit souvent \u00e0 une diminution du stress. Le v\u00e9ritable autosoin consiste \u00e0 faire quelque chose pour vous-m\u00eames que vous souhaitez faire et qui revigore votre esprit, votre \u00e2me et votre corps. Les autosoins varient d\u2019une personne \u00e0 l\u2019autre et il est important de personnaliser l'exp\u00e9rience.<\/li>\n<li class=\" translation-block\"><strong>La relaxation<\/strong> : plus nous devenons stress\u00e9s, plus il est difficile de ramener notre corps et notre esprit \u00e0 un \u00e9tat de relaxation. La relaxation devient une routine importante \u00e0 int\u00e9grer dans notre vie car elle nous ram\u00e8ne \u00e0 un \u00e9tat de repos neutre et permet de nous r\u00e9initialiser en vue d\u2019un stress futur.
