Jodi is a registered social worker practicing and teaching psychotherapy in Sudbury, Ontario. She offers service virtually to clients across the province.

Jodi graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and proceeded to complete a Master’s degree in Social Work at York University the following year. After completion of this degree, she began her practice in a hospital-based Mood and Anxiety Program. In 2013, Jodi completed a year-long course of study and clinical supervision in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and became certified with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Since that time, Jodi has been committed to both her own continued clinical development, and in recent years, to fostering clinical development in other professionals though a teaching and mentorship role in a CBT training program. Jodi has had additional training and supervision in Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Jodi has experience in addressing the effects of recent and historical abuse and trauma, social anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, Specific Phobias, OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, problems related to life stresses, and interpersonal challenges. Jodi is committed to working together with the people she serves to create individualized therapy plans to effectively target her client’s goals and maximize strengths and potential.
