Brenda is a therapist based in the Lambton County area, offering both in-person and online counselling services to clients across Ontario. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Work and Social Service Workers (OASSW) as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). Brenda works with individuals and couples, helping them build lifelong skills to navigate challenges, strengthen their mental health, and enhance their resilience and overall well-being.
With over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health and addiction, Brenda provides evidence-based and skill-focused treatment to address concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, addictions, and trauma. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT), first-stage trauma treatment, and mindfulness practices.
Before entering private practice, Brenda spent 16 years at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) as both a therapist and an education specialist. Her extensive background allows her to offer informed, compassionate, and practical support to clients working toward personal growth and emotional wellness.
