Brenda offers counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals and couples. She has a passion to help people learn lifelong skills that will allow them to navigate challenging situations, better understand and strengthen their mental health, and increase their resiliency and ability to thrive in their daily life.

Brenda provides evidence and skill-based treatment approaches to help individuals deal with stress, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, and trauma. She specializes in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), emotional focused therapy (EFT), first stage trauma treatment, mindfulness techniques and solution focused therapy.

Brenda has over 25 years of expertise working in the field of mental health and addiction (chemical and behavioural). She worked at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) for 16 years, as a therapist and education specialist.
