Crona Airgid (Elle, Son)
Crona Airgid is a Registered Social Worker (R.S.W.) at the Master’s level with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She holds an Honours B.A. in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. With 25 years of counselling experience, Crona provides individual and group counselling for children, teens, and adults, as well as couples therapy. She has facilitated a wide variety of groups, including CBT, DBT, caregiver support, parenting adolescents, meditation, cancer support, and couples therapy.
Crona is passionate about continuous learning and integrating holistic approaches into her practice. Her recent training includes certification as a Hypnotherapist and as a yoga instructor, alongside advanced trainings in CBT, DBT, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). She has also participated in personal growth programs with Tony Robbins and Brendon Burchard. Her approach combines evidence-based techniques with wellness-focused strategies to provide a comprehensive, client-centered approach to mental health.
Crona specializes in supporting the mental health of policing and first responder professionals, drawing on her 24 years of dedicated practice and experience with the RCMP. She works with trauma, PTSD, addictions, and high-stress occupational challenges, offering confidential and judgment-free counselling for individuals, couples, and families. Crona’s approach emphasizes identifying clients’ strengths, building resilience, and fostering emotional well-being, with a mission to support those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
