Jenny Thibeau (Elle/Homme)
Jenny Thibeau brings over 20 years of experience in acute children’s mental health. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Registered Social Worker in good standing.
Jenny specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, addictions, suicidality and self-harm, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Her extensive background allows her to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Her therapeutic approach draws on a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy. By integrating these methods, Jenny helps clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships within the family system.
