Jenny Thibeau has over 20 years of experience in acute children’s mental health. She is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Wilfrid University. Jenny has extensive experience in supporting children, adolescents and their families who are living with depression, anxiety, addictions, suicidality/self-harm, ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). She utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy. Jenny has additional training in TIP (Transition to Independence Process) a set of interventions designed to support youth (ages 14-29) living with emotional and behavioural issues achieve success.
