Encompas offers two Member Portal experiences to suit your needs:
the Care Supported Portal and the Self-Directed Portal.

The Care Supported Portal offers the service and support of our Care Management Team 24/7/365 to accompany you on your confidential wellness journey.
The Self-Directed Portal offers independent and confidential access to your personalized dashboard and program resources – available anytime, from anywhere, at your own pace.

What is the difference between the Care Manager Supported Portal and the Self-Directed Portal?
Care Supported Portal
A confidential link between you and your Care Manager with an option to include your therapist if you choose.
After receiving an invitation from your Care Manager, you’ll start with a short, 5-question self-assessment that measures how mental health affects your everyday life. The Portal will prompt you to complete the self-assessment regularly and track your results over time. Under the guidance of your therapist, your Care Manager can also recommend specialized self-assessments for more specific mental health concerns.
Based on your concerns and goals, your Care Manager can recommend tools from the Encompas Portal Resource Library to help you take action.
Self-Directed Portal
Provides a fully independent and confidential way to track and take action on your mental health. The Portal will prompt you to complete a specially designed self-assessment tool that tracks your mood, wellbeing, and functioning on your private dashboard. Explore what concerns you most, set mental wellness goals, and explore tools to achieve them.
Based on your results, you’ll receive personalized recommendations for wellness tools in the Encompas Portal Resource Library. You will also have access to the Encompas Care Management Team through quick-links available on the Portal.”
No registration with the Encompas Program is required to access this Portal.
Participation is flexible:
Use either portal or opt out entirely, it’s your choice.

Powered by Dalton Associates, the Care Management Team is here for eligible members and their families anytime, day or night.

- Choose the fully private Self-Directed Portal

Why would I complete the Portal self-assessments?
The Care Supported Portal uses The Work and Social Adjustment Scale (WSAS) to capture the impact of your mental health on work, relationships and daily life. With guidance from your therapist, your Care Manager can also recommend others from a library of evidence-based clinical assessments; including for PTSD, depression, or anxiety. You can choose to share your results with a care provider to support your treatment.
The Self-Directed Portal uses a specially designed self-assessment that shows your results over time on a private dashboard. Based on your unique score, the platform generates tailored recommendations for helpful tools found in the Encompas Portal Resource Library. Go deeper on what concerns you most, set mental wellness goals, and take action.
You can contact a Care Manager anytime, right through the portal.
I’m having trouble accessing my account, what should I do?
- Double-check that you are using the correct Portal link. There are two versions of the Encompas Portal: the Self-Directed Portal and the Care Supported Portal. Make sure you’re using the link that matches the type of support you’re registered for.
- Ensure you’re using the correct email address and password associated with your account.
- Try accessing the Portal from a different browser or device, or clear your browser’s cache and cookies.

What is Greenspace and how secure is it?
Greenspace Health is compliant with all Canadian federal and provincial privacy legislation and have implemented significant measures which exceed industry standards and best practices to safeguard users’ personal health information, including requiring strong passwords, automatic logouts, automatic access logging, secured data backups, two factor authentication and restrictive data access procedures. All data and information is stored in Canada.
The Greenspace system also conforms to digital and physical security protocols (including PHIPA), with SSL-secured access, AES encryption at the file-system level, and firewalls protecting all data. As part of Greenspace’s commitment to ensure best-in-class privacy and security standards, Greenspace has completed a SOC 2 Type II review by an independent AICPA auditing firm that has examined its control objectives and activities and tested its controls to ensure operational excellence.
The Greenspace database runs in a private subnet (hidden from the outside internet) and access is restricted to Greenspace. Database traffic is encrypted both in transit and at rest using modern technology standards.
Can I use the Portals anonymously?
The Care Supported Portal is designed to be a link between you, your Care Manager, and your therapist or mental health provider if you so choose. Your Care Manager is able to see into your account, assign self-assessments as recommended by your mental health provider, and review the results with you.
