Alice Tyler
Alice holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a psychotherapist with Social Work Solutions Canada. She has extensive experience working in community mental health and private practice settings across Canada and the United States, supporting adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples. Her areas of focus include adjustment to major life changes, family and relationship issues, workplace stress, and a variety of mental health concerns.
She has a particular interest in working with first responders, military personnel, and their families, helping them navigate the unique occupational stressors and post-traumatic challenges associated with their professions. Alice approaches therapy from a strengths-based, mind–body, and collaborative perspective, engaging clients with empathy and commitment to their individual healing process.
Alice draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. She is trained and experienced in treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, loss and bereavement, emotional abuse, and chronic pain. Her experience facilitating DBT and Chronic Pain Management groups has reinforced her belief in the importance of social connection and community support in healing and growth.
Monday 1:30-8:30 pm Tuesday 10:00 am- 2:00 pm Wednesday 1:00 -6:00 pm Friday 1:30- 5:30 pm can also flex hours as needed
