This therapist practices under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate. If you are seeking supervised psychological services, an initial appointment must first be made with the supervisor to confirm appropriateness of fit.

I use a collaborative and strengths-based approach to foster a strong therapeutic relationship within a supportive, safe, and respectful environment. My focus is on helping clients draw upon their own resilience and strengths to promote healing, growth, and lasting change. With over 19 years of experience in emergency and trauma nursing, I have a deep understanding of the unique demands and stress faced by clients, patients, First Responders, and medical professionals. This background allows me to bring empathy, insight, and a practical understanding to the therapeutic process, particularly for those who work in high-stress or critical environments.

I provide empathic and compassionate psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families who are navigating a range of personal and relational challenges. My areas of focus include separation and divorce, trauma and PTSD, personal loss and bereavement, anxiety and depression, child and adolescent development, women’s issues, and workplace transitions or stress-related issues. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Addictions, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), trauma counselling, and MANERS Psychological First Aid.

In addition to my clinical work, I provide crisis interventions and organizational support to groups and workplaces that have experienced a critical or traumatic event, helping individuals and teams manage the emotional impact and begin the process of recovery. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
