Cynthia has over 25 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups. Her style is direct and compassionate. Cynthia listens carefully to understand what is troubling you and helps you to better understand your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Her main focus is on what her clients want to change in their lives.
Cynthia’s therapeutic approach is an eclectic one that enables her to draw from many therapeutic techniques and modalities. Whether you are seeking a resolution to a specific issue or are seeking therapy for self-exploration and personal growth, Cynthia has the skills and experience to assist you. Cynthia has a special interest and training in working with Emergency First Responders and has extensive training in Trauma, including EMDR.
Cynthia holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from OISE, University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Cynthia also has advanced training in Trauma Treatment, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
