Frank is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), offering Counselling/Psychotherapy services as well as Supervised Psychological Counselling under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate. He provides counselling and therapy in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. Frank holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Knox College, University of Toronto, where his thesis explored Opportunities for Ministry Among New-Landed Immigrants. He is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and a member of the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).
For over twenty-three years, Frank has provided psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families experiencing emotional and relational challenges. His areas of expertise include Anger Management, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Ethnic-Minority Issues, Intimacy and Relationship Problems, Religious and Gender Identity Concerns, Self-Esteem, Sex Therapy, Sex Addiction Therapy, and Pre-Marital Counselling. In couple and family sessions, Frank emphasizes communication, empathy, and respect, helping clients strengthen their relationships and build deeper intimacy.
Frank brings a rich blend of clinical experience, cultural insight, and spiritual integration to his work. He is trained to support African-American men experiencing racial trauma, with a comprehensive understanding of the psychological impact of anti-Blackness and its clinical implications. He also has specialized training in working with first responders—including firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and emergency personnel—who face unique stressors and risks of burnout. Having immigrated twice himself, Frank draws on personal experience to inform his culturally sensitive and compassionate approach. In addition, as an ordained Presbyterian minister, he can integrate Christian spiritual perspectives with professional counselling for clients who desire it. Confidential sessions are available by appointment in Kitchener, and services are offered in English, Hungarian, and Romanian.
