While working in private practice, Jennifer has assisted couples and families cope with relationship issues, establishing healthy boundaries, and building effective communication skills. She has also helped clients with mood/anxiety disorders and low self-esteem reach achievable goals. In addition, Jennifer has a special interest in supporting families cope with infertility as she has personally experienced this challenge and understands the emotional impact of this issue. Jennifer was fortunate to give birth to twin girls in 2007 after experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. She also had a son in 2012. She now enjoys spending any spare time being active with her family.
Jennifer uses a client-centred and holistic approach while working with her clients to achieve optimal results. She has been trained in various modalities such as cognitive behaviour therapy & motivational interviewing to help individuals reach their goals & enrich their lives with positive change. Through continuous professional development that has included training in narrative therapy and brief solution-focused therapy, she strives to meet her client’s needs with sensitivity and compassion.
