I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families in a warm and supportive manner. I work closely with clients on achieving their goals while making use of a number of theoretical and evidence-based approaches. I am experienced in treating anxiety/depression, trauma and grief, life transitions, postpartum mood disorder, divorce/separation, extramarital affairs, job loss, illness and disability.
I completed my BA in psychology at York University and received my Masters of Social Work at the University of Toronto. I trained and am certified as a Trauma Specialist with the Traumatology Institute of Canada and am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the OASW. I am trained in EMDR and make use of CBT-informed treatment along with mindfulness, narrative and solution-focused therapies.
