Justin offers Counselling/Psychotherapy services.

Your mental health is very important. As a therapist I believe in a collaborative approach which involves you in the making of the therapeutic plan. The hurting doesn’t need to continue. There’s a path to wellness, I can help you find it, and it’s a beautiful thing. I have experience with CBT, DBT, trauma informed approaches, mindfulness-based methods as well as knowledge in other areas. I have proficiency with addictions, co-dependency, depression/anxiety, anger management, grief & bereavement, relationship issues and life transitions. I came to this profession through my own struggles with substances years ago. Through hard work, I have managed to not let them get the better of me for over 10 years now, so I know how difficult it can be to change. But let me tell you, the rewards are amazing. I believe that with some work, everyone can enhance their lives and enjoy the world and people around them more.

My education started out at Sheridan College where I received my Social Service Worker diploma (SSW). I then continued my schooling at Wilfrid Laurier University where I completed my Bachelor of Social Work degree and then continued at McMaster University where I was awarded my Master of Social Work degree. It was a long road but a rewarding one; your road can be even more rewarding once you start taking it.
