Karen Cressman (She/Her)

MSW , Registered Social Worker
Counsellor's Gender: Woman
Ethno-Racial Identity: White

I bring a wealth of experience as a senior clinician, with a professional journey grounded in both education and social work. For 20 years, I taught children with special needs, an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of diverse learning styles, family dynamics, and the importance of compassionate support. This meaningful work ultimately inspired me to pursue a second career as a social worker later in life.

As a mother of four children while balancing a career, I understand firsthand the many challenges women face throughout different life stages. I bring this personal insight into my therapeutic practice, offering empathy, validation, and a grounded perspective.

At the core of my work, I am an empathetic listener who collaborates with clients to identify concerns, explore possibilities, and develop solutions that support their well-being.
