Krista Carlin is a Registered Social Worker who practices counselling and therapy in Hamilton, Ontario under the supervision of a Registered Social Worker, both as members of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Krista has a passion for fostering growth, resilience, and wellness across the lifespan. She has specialized knowledge, training, and experience working with children, youth, adults, and older adults in Mental Health and Medical Social Work settings, specifically in Emergency, Neuroscience and Trauma, and Acute Medicine departments.
Krista holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto and previous degrees from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Health, Aging, and Society.
She has clinical training in Mindfulness Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy-Informed Practice for children, youth and adults; and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
