Leanna Probizanski
I offer specialized counselling services for individuals addressing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, OCD, OCPD, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, stress, life transitions, and conflicts. With over a decade of experience working with civilians, first responders, and military personnel, I bring extensive expertise and understanding to my practice.
I am a registered Master of Social Work counsellor and hold certifications as a Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II) and an ADHD-CCSP specialist. My approach to counselling is centered on the individual, recognizing that each person possesses inherent resources for self-understanding and the capacity to change self-concepts, attitudes, and behaviours. These resources are most effectively accessed through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, in which you are regarded as the foremost expert on yourself.
Working together, we will explore challenging topics or memories and experiment with new behaviours, all within a supportive and safe environment. I tailor the therapeutic experience to meet your unique needs and goals, drawing from a variety of methods to best suit your situation. My person-centred approach emphasizes empathy, warmth, and collaboration, with the aim of helping you achieve the personal goals you have set and fostering growth, resilience, and well-being.
