Lori Epstein (She/Her)
I provide counselling and psychotherapy using evidence-based therapies. My approach is warm, empathetic, non-judgmental, and supportive. I work collaboratively with clients from a strength-based perspective, creating a safe space where they feel heard, validated, and empowered to attain optimal mental health.
I work with clients experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, separation and divorce, illness, and personal injury. My goal is to help clients navigate these challenges and develop coping strategies that promote resilience and well-being.
I completed my Bachelor of Social Work at McGill University and earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto. I am trained in a range of therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. I also consider myself an Informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist.
Over my career as a Registered Social Worker, I have worked in hospital rehabilitation settings, healthcare clinics, and on a Family Health Care Team. I have supported patients with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and other complex challenges, gaining extensive experience in addressing both physical and psychological aspects of recovery.
Our Care Management Team will respond as soon as possible to get you started.
