Marc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology Degree (M.Psy.) at Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), Ontario Psychological Association (OPA) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Marc is a personal and professional development specialist with 20 years of progressive experience in organizational settings involving vocational counselling, change management, training and development, disability management, harassment/discrimination, critical incidents and dismissals. Marc has a particular interest in mental health in the workplace. His focus is on personal and professional growth, change management, work and life balance, burn-out, depression, stress and anxiety disorders. His education and experience allow him to support individuals through difficult or complex times in their lives. His approach is supportive and engaging and provides for his clients a safe, confidential, and comfortable place in which to experience focused attention and compassion. He can assist individuals in moving beyond life’s challenges and towards constructive resolutions, a sense of balance, satisfaction and growth, using a client-centred, collaborative, and solution-focused approach.
His approach to counselling is to recognize the whole person which includes the emotional, cognitive, behavioural and interpersonal aspects as important components towards a greater quality of life. His personal interests include travel, home improvement, meditation and swimming.
