Are you feeling lost, struggling to find meaning and purpose in your life? Do you find yourself trapped in the darkness of anxiety, depression, or apathy, impacting not only yourself but also your relationships? Perhaps you’ve tried to navigate these challenges alone, only to realize that you need support from someone who understands. If any of this resonates with you, then you’ve come to the right place. I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting, but I commend your bravery in taking this important step towards healing.
With over 30 years of counseling experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless individuals, couples, and families towards feeling whole again. By utilizing approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques, I aim to reignite hope, provide clarity, and restore purpose to your life.
Together, we can embark on a journey to equip you with the necessary tools to confront and overcome your challenges. Whether you’re grappling with anxiety and depression, particularly in the realm of teens and young adults, facing marital difficulties, or simply feeling adrift, it’s crucial to recognize that you don’t have to face these struggles alone.
I bring a wealth of expertise in working with first responders, drawing from over 35 years of dedicated service. My extensive experience includes providing counselling for uniformed officers and their families across the country, as well as collaborating with police services in Eastern and Southern Ontario on wellness initiatives and mediation support. Additionally, I’ve worked alongside officers in Toronto, Ottawa, as well as with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) as a child abuse investigator.
My firsthand experience with the challenges encountered by first responders not only enhances my professional credibility but also fosters a deeper level of understanding and empathy. With my unique blend of personal and professional insight, you can trust that you’re in capable hands as you navigate your path towards healing and renewal.
