Michael has worked in the mental health and addiction field since 2011 and has been providing professional mental health counselling since 2013, following the completion of his Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Toronto. He is registered with the Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and is a certified Clinical Traumatologist (TITC-CT) and Compassion Fatigue Specialist through the Traumatology Institute in Toronto.

Michael’s counselling style is grounded in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment that supports clients in exploring the root of their concerns. He practices from a strengths-based perspective, recognizing that even when a person seeks counselling due to a challenge, it is equally important to identify resilience, inner resources, and strengths.
