L.A. is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Mental Health Professional Association. Since obtaining her master’s degree, she has been profoundly inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and its remarkable ability to heal. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for her clients.

L.A. brings extensive experience from her years working with First Responders and victims of crime. She has served within a large police service in multiple roles, including officer, full-time Employee Assistance Counsellor, Peer Support Team Lead, Critical Incident Stress Assistant Coordinator, and Educator. In addition, she has worked in a busy hospital setting—supporting patients and staff in Emergency, CCU, and Palliative Care through the Chaplaincy Program.

Her clinical specializations include anxiety, depression, stress, First Responder and military operational stress injuries (OSI), PTSD, and WSIB-related workplace injuries. L.A. uses a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, and Family Psychoeducation and Support.
