This therapist practices under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate. If you are seeking supervised psychological services, an initial appointment must first be made with the supervisor to confirm appropriateness of fit.

At the core of my therapeutic approach is a simple yet powerful belief: everyone deserves compassion, support, and the opportunity to thrive. Life often presents complex and unpredictable challenges that can feel overwhelming, especially for those in demanding, high-stress roles. As a psychotherapist based in Parry Sound, Ontario, I am dedicated to supporting individuals—including first responders and their families—as they navigate the emotional impact of trauma, stress, and life’s transitions. My goal is to help you foster a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions, so you can move forward with greater balance, confidence, and resilience.

First responders face unique pressures that can take a toll on their emotional and physical well-being. The constant exposure to critical incidents, long hours, and the responsibility of protecting others often leave little room for processing personal experiences. I offer a space where police officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and other emergency personnel can safely explore the effects of operational stress, trauma, anxiety, or burnout. I also work closely with their spouses and family members, helping them understand and manage the ripple effects of service-related stress while strengthening communication, connection, and support at home.

In our counselling sessions, you will find a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where your experiences are met with empathy, respect, and genuine understanding. I combine professional expertise with warmth, compassion, and, when appropriate, humour to create a space where you feel safe to express yourself openly. Together, we will explore your challenges, build emotional resilience, and uncover strategies that empower you to lead a healthier, more fulfilling life. Therapy is a shared journey—a partnership rooted in trust, courage, and human connection—and I am honoured to walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing and growth.
